Participate in a Regional Child Abuse Prevention Council local activity through their work with "Strong Communities Raise Strong Kids." They are available throughout the state to share with your group more information and resources to prevent child abuse and raise healthy families. Regional Child Abuse Prevention Councils educate Arizona communities about child abuse/neglect and its prevention. Councils are run by volunteers in their local communities.

Attend ASCC's Annual Conference for early childhood educators and caregivers: "Celebrate the Young Child" March 6, 2010 at the Glendale Civic Center! Register to reserve your spot and make plans to attend presentations by both Dr. Jill Stamm from New Directions Institute; and Mary Ann Dillon and Kimberly Flack from Eight Educational Outreach: ASSET!



Save the date! Plan to register for the upcoming workshops from New Directions Institute exclusively designed around Early Attachment based on This Emotional Life! Workshops will be facilitated by Patti Phillips.

  • Saturday, May 8 workshop for family, friends, neighbors, and early childhood educators who work with children birth to age 5
  • Saturday, May 22 workshop for educators PreK-12

All workshop participants will receive an Early Attachment Toolkit and a copy of Bright From the Start by Dr. Jill Stamm.
