KAET/Eight
KAET/Eight has created a website for the Arizona Stories
program. Check out the interactive Arizona Map that allows
you choose a "Milestone" by clicking on the
location and then plays a short video about that event.
Also, Scroll over a "Then & Now" image.
The first image you see is the original and as you scroll
over it, see what that image looks like today.
DiscoveryStreaming
Arizona teachers have powerful
resources available to them at no cost. DiscoveryStreaming
has over 4000 full videos available. Many are aligned to
Arizona State Academic Standards. To access these videos,
just log into www.ideal.azed.gov
and click on the Curriculum Resources link and click "Go"
under DiscoveryStreaming. To search for videos, just choose
Arizona and Grade Level 3-5. In addition to the video below,
there are about 165 digital images available to add to reports,
newsletters, or PowerPoint presentations.

Recipes4Success
Your students can learn PowerPoint by doing a report on Arizona using the outline and directions given to them from the Recipes for PowerPoint. If they already have learned PowerPoint but need to learn a new skill, have them use the tutorals in the Snacks section. Also, make sure that you have them cite their resources correctly by using the Citation Maker in the Tools. To use this resource, log into IDEAL and select Curriculum Resources.
