American Graduate: Letís Make It Happen!

High school graduation is an essential step in an individual’s life toward social and economic advancement and well-being. Arizona’s graduation rates are below the national average at 77 percent.

Who is helping our youth stay on track to college and career success? How can communities come together to raise graduation rates throughout our state?

Join Eight, Arizona PBS as we launch the American Graduate initiative this Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8 a.m. with seven hours of programming, dedicated to helping improve 21st century learning and celebrating the exceptional work of individuals and groups across the country who are American Graduate Champions. See how programs around the country are making an impact.

You can also engage online via our interactive web resource at www.azpbs.org/amgradaz.  And join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #AmGradAZ.
