Fred Rogers: The Inspiration for "Be My Neighbor Day"

Since 1968, when Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood made its national public television debut, Fred Rogers began each episode with his simple signature question in song: “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” We will be holding Be My Neighbor Day here in Phoenix, AZ on April 30, 2015 The event offers the chance for neighbors to meet neighbors and promotes a spirit of volunteerism - a natural extension of Fred Rogers’ legacy of neighborliness.
