Educators - Apply to become an ASSET-Eight Classroom Innovator!
Integrate PBS Programs, Online Resources, and
Professional Development in Your Teaching
ASSET (Arizona
School Services through Educational Technology) is currently
seeking twenty qualified candidates from PreK-12 public, charter,
and private schools across the State of Arizona to serve as
ASSET-Eight Classroom Innovators. These educators will be trained
to support professional development and technology integration
efforts by assisting educators at their site make use of PBS
TeacherLine coursework, PBS TeacherLine Peer Connection tools,
Eight on-air programs and PBS Teachers online resources.
As part
of a grant from PBS TeacherLine, ASSET-Eight will train and
support selected Classroom Innovator candidates to assist colleagues
with PBS resources that can support and sustain school goals
including online professional development.
Application
materials will be accepted through March 14, 2008.
