1: ASSET Portal Activation Directions

Go
to www.asset.asu.edu
and click on "Ready to Activate." |

To
proceed click on "No",
otherwise click on "Yes" |

| 3.
Select
your County, District, and School. Click on "Save
My School." |
|
| 4.
Type
in your district’s ASSET Coordinator, and click
on "Create My Account."
If you don’t your coordinator’s name,
contact your ASSET Coordinator for your site or district,
or contact ASSET at 480 965-1004 or email asset@asu.edu

| 5.Select
type of staff and click on "Save Staff
Position." |
|
| 6.
Select
Grades and Subjects and click on "Save
Grades/Subjects." |
|
| 7.
Fill
out all of the Personal Information and click on "Save
Changes." |
|
9.
You will be presented with a confirmation screen.
You may want to write down or print out this information.
Click on the "Enter"
button. Welcome
to the ASSET Education Portal! |

STEP
2: How do I register for courses?
1.
After signing into the ASSET Education Portal, click on
the Professional Development tab. Then click on the "Course
Catalog" link in the navigation bar on the left-hand
side of the page.

To view all the course offerings, click on the link "View
all Courses".
3.
Select your online course.
4.
After you have submitted your registration, a confirmation
page will appear. Your registration is now complete. You
will also receive confirmation by email.
5.
Once you've registered for a course, the course title
will appear in My Courses, located on the home page. It
will list all of the courses for which you're currently
registered, including courses that are in session and
upcoming courses that have not yet started.
6.
If you run into a problem during the registration
process, or if a course you registered for does not appear
on your My Courses page, send an email to asset@asu.edu
or call 480-965-1004. For the quickest response, please
describe the problem as precisely as you can.
STEP
3: When can I access my online course?
The
ASSET Education Portal is available to you 24 hours a
day! You can access your course selection on the day the
course begins. You can read the course material, post
to the Forum, and access everything on the site until
the closing day of the course.
If
you are taking a TeacherLine course you will need to create
a user name and password for TeacherLine also.
