Membership
ASSET is a non-profit organization that is supported
by a membership consortium of public school districts, private,
charter, and Bureau of Indian Affairs schools. Single schools,
entire districts or other school systems may join ASSET based
on the organization’s enrollment figures. There is also
an opportunity for home school families to join ASSET. The specific
fees for an organization or home school family may be obtained
directly from an ASSET representative.
ASSET provides its members access to the latest professional development
opportunities and instructional tools for the classroom related
to technology. Membership entitles ASSET
services between July 1 and June 30--- renewable each year.
As of July 1, 2005 the Arizona Department of Education entered
a 3-year agreement with ASSET to pay the membership fee on behalf
of all Arizona K-12 public schools, districts and charter schools.
ASSET takes pride in listening to its constituency when determining
the services it offers membership. Representatives from the education
and corporate community serve on the ASSET Board
of Directors in an advisory capacity. In addition, the organization
hosts stakeholder meetings to gain input from ASSET membership.
